The Sensory Pod Swing is a strong and comfortable indoor canvas swing for your child to enjoy.
Your child can receive the calming feeling that swinging can bring, right in your home. Enjoy the deep pressure hug in a cocoon like space.
This sensory pod swing is made from high quality and comfortable canvas with an inflatable cushion insert.
The Pod Swings are often used by therapists to provide a hug like effect for little ones. This deep pressure touch can assist with regulation and organisation of the nervous system.
It also provides vestibular input. Using slow, linear movements (back and forth or side to side) gives much needed vestibular input and creates a feeling of calm in your child.
Given the Canvas swing has a single attachment point, it can give 360 degree movement on the horizontal plane. If you are wanting the canvas swing to "spin" then just add a 360 degree swivel (purchase separately).
The swing can be used indoors our outdoors, however we do not recommend leaving it outside exposed to the weather.
When setting up, we suggest popping the cushion insert in the canvas pocket before inflating. It is much more difficult putting the cushion in place if it is already pumped up.
It is machine washable. Remove the cushion insert before washing.
