The Ark Lip Blok chew exercises the muscles of the mouth to promote tongue retraction and correct overall tongue positioning. It also prevents individuals from biting the straw or putting it too far into their mouths.
Oral chews are an excellent way to provide oral stimulation, build oral tone, exercise the mouth muscles and practice biting/chewing skills.
They can act as mouth fidgets, redirecting finger biting and clothing chewing etc.
Simply press the Lip Blok into the top of a straw and drink. The length of the yellow is 3/4".
The Ark Lip Blok encourages individuals to put less and less of the straw into their mouths. They enable fluid to be deposited in the front of the mouth where it is easier to manage and less likely to cause coughing or aspiration.
