The job of the Vestibular sensory system is to tell us where we are in space, and to provide information vital to balance, movement and orientation. It helps us to grasp vital skills such as learning to walk, or helps us to know if we are going up (or down) in an elevator despite standing still. Vestibular sensory input is essential for all individuals natural development, though has also been proven to be a powerful tool in helping children with sensory needs. Sensory swings are a fantastic example of how to incorporate vestibular input into play, we love them, and as a result have an exciting (and well tested!) range for you to choose from!
