Balance cushion - Heavy duty is an inflatable therapeutic cushion designed to support balance, coordination and active sitting. It is an excellent flexible seating option for children and adults who need gentle movement in order to stay focused during learning or daily tasks.
Movement activates the vestibular system, providing alerting input and helping the body feel organised and ready to engage. The amount of movement can be adjusted by adding or removing air, with more air creating greater instability and motion.
This cushion can be used on a chair at a classroom desk, tutoring table or dining setting, or placed on the floor to provide movement and tactile input through the feet and legs.
Made from thick, durable material, it is designed for heavy duty use whether sitting or standing. It includes a safe pin pump point and offers two tactile surfaces — a smooth side and a nubby side — to suit different sensory preferences.

Great for my 5 year old who needs to work on his fine motor skills and being creative. The tap tap set is also loved by my eldest, 13 years old who loves a therapeutic activity before bed. He loves to tap tap away.
Since putting this on my son’s bed it has made a huge difference. We have also found if he is getting overwhelmed he is now retreating to his bed. He says “it feels like a big hug”. We opted for the double as we have a very thick (60cm) king single mattress.
This swing is the absolute bees knees of sensory seeking/ risky play/ calm down activity. It is used multiple times a day by both my kiddos, and is incredibly durable. I cannot recommend it enough!!
This is absolutely perfect for my five year old. It is considerably easier and faster to brush his teeth, and it enables him to brush his own teeth more often, and with better results. This fosters his independence, while aiding his fine motor deficit. I would highly recommend it.
