The Handiwriter - Dolphin Blue is designed to facilitate the correct positioning and holding of a pen or pencil.
They are recommended for children of all ages who have a poor grasp pattern, though they have been proven beneficial for all children learning to write. We love that they can also be also in conjunction with pencil grips.
The HandiWriter is made from blue stretch knit bands with a blue dolphin attached to the cord (for grip).
To correctly use the Handiwriter - Dolphin Blue simply put large loop around the wrist, the small loop around the pencil with the dolphin held in the palm of the hand, which creates the recommended “tripod grip”.
